Ronan Group Lodges Plans For 141 Homes at Stylebawn

Ronan Group Real Estate (Ronan Group) has lodged planning to develop 141 luxury houses and apartments at Stylebawn, in Delgany Village, Co. Wicklow. Once construction is complete, the development will consist of a mix of dwellings including 60 four-bed houses, 14 three-bed houses, and one two-bed house. Furthermore, there will be two apartment blocks constructed in four and five storey developments, consisting of 38 two-bed units and 28 one-bed units mixed across the buildings. The majority of Stylebawn will be available for private sale to families, while 20% will be allocated to social and affordable housing. The application includes plans for the sensitive restoration of Stylebawn House which is a listed structure dating back to the 1700s.

To complement the existing enviable backdrop surrounding Delgany, the developments at Stylebawn will feature communal amenity spaces including children’s play areas, a courtyard, and a nature trail. The prime site is located in an area of high demand for residential accommodation, and family homes in particular. The scenic landscape of Delgany Village is in close proximity to the towns of Greystones and Bray and also within easy reach of the M50 motorway and N11 providing easy access to the workplaces of major multinational employers based in and around Dublin. 

The proposed buildings respond to the topography of the site and provide a modern response to the setting, with notable features including a ‘green roof’ and façades harmonised to the surrounding terrain. The landscaped areas will benefit from the use of quality materials to define the character of the space along with an extensive planting scheme including feature tree planting, shrub and herbaceous planting, lawns and meadows to enhance the biodiversity of the site.
