Former Ireland Rugby International, Fergus McFadden, joins the Kirby Team

Kirby Group Engineering is proud to announce a new addition to its team. Fergus McFadden, the former Ireland Rugby International joins the firm as a Business Development Executive, a role in which he will play a key part in the area of relationship management, which is a core part of Kirby’s vision.

Group MD Mark Flanagan says “Fergus brings with him 15 years’ experience in a high-performance sports environment where we all know a strong work ethic and performing under pressure were mandatory for everyone. I have no doubt that Fergus’ history of world-class teamwork and motivation make him a natural fit with the Kirby approach to getting the job done and we are delighted to have him on board”.

Fergus is joining a company that has an established reputation for its mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering contracting work, and its portfolio includes successful projects across a range of sectors including data centres, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, commercial, substations and renewables.

The company was established in 1964 and recently marked a key milestone of directly employing over 1,000 colleagues with more than 2,000 people deployed across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.
