Senior Appointment at Glenveagh Properties PLC

Glenveagh Properties PLC has appointed Mary Birmingham as Chief Investment Officer at its Glenveagh Living subsidiary.

Glenveagh Living focusses on developing residential communities in partnership with institutional investors, approved housing bodies, government agencies and strategic landlords.  The division is complementary to Glenveagh Homes which builds homes for the private market.

Mary Birmingham is a Chartered Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience. She has held senior positions in Irish Life Investment Managers, as a self-employed Project Director and most recently with the National Asset Management Agency until May 2018 where she was Head of Asset Management.

Speaking today, Justin Bickle, Co-Founder and CEO of Glenveagh Properties PLC said that Mary’s appointment would bring additional sector expertise and significant experience to the growing division:

“Mary brings a wealth of experience of the institutional and development property market in Ireland.  We believe that Glenveagh Living can play an important role in meeting the growing demand in Ireland for residential solutions for institutional investors and public bodies.”

Glenveagh Living has acquired sites capable of delivering 1,850 PRS units in Dublin and Galway in the coming years and is also developing its mixed-tenure offering, working with local authorities and approved housing bodies.
