QBM continue Upskilling Drive

One of Ireland’s leading independent roofing suppliers, Quality Building Materials (QBM) have continued their commitment to upskilling the roofing industry, having announced that they have trained over 70 roofers in Ireland at their purpose-built facility in Baldoyle since January 2019.

Director, David Fitzpatrick comments: “QBM are fully committed to improving the standard within the roofing industry in Ireland, our 1-day intensive courses are an opportunity for roofers at all levels to gain a competitive advantage in the installation applications and technical advantages of our materials”. The Dublin 13 based roofing suppliers have committed to an ongoing training strategy to ensure they continue to promote the skill of roofing within the construction industry and to upskill those already in the trade. 

QBM have strategically aligned themselves with some of Europe’s leading roofing materials manufacturers to deliver the latest innovative products and accessories that are FM and BBA approved, to the roofing industry. David adds: “It is imperative that not only are the large contractors familiar with our products but that the guys who are on site laying and fitting the systems are familiar with how it works and the benefits associated with its use”.  In order to achieve this outcome, they work closely with Ireland’s roofing contractors and labours to deliver there in house training on their range of products including Firestone, FDT and UltraFlex. 

Operated by Manging director, David Butler and Director, David Fitzpatrick the company has a number of considerable projects secured for 2020, suggesting a fruitful 12 months is on the horizon for this young, dynamic company.
