Since its inception in 2000, the company has grown to employ 60 people who are engaged in fabrication, design, project management and fitting. By achieving unrivalled levels of customer satisfaction, Lynch Windows has earned an outstanding reputation that sees it work with high-profile clients such as Lidl, HSE, OPW, Department of Education, Applegreen, Musgraves, Tesco and Coca-Cola on a regular basis.

Superior quality, attention to detail, value-for-money and a commitment to working closely with clients to deliver total satisfaction are the hallmarks of the Donegal company, whose continued growth can also be attributed to its experienced and highly-skilled workforce. Lynch Windows provides a complete service, from estimation / tendering and project specification and design to fabrication / manufacturing and finally site installation.

“We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional commercial and residential uPVC and aluminium window and door solutions nationwide,” says Gavin, who is a nephew of founder and managing director Pat Lynch.

“Our business is 60% commercial and 40% residential. It’s almost an even split. Thankfully, we are very busy at the moment. We’re fortunate to have a large and loyal customer-base which has enabled us to grow. Our ability to deliver projects on time and within the agreed budget is borne out by the high volume of repeat business and referrals we receive from satisfied customers.

“We’re essentially a one-stop shop for all your door and window requirements. We take great pride in the quality of our products and our customer service. Only the best materials go into making a Lynch Windows product! Everything but the glass and ironmongery is manufactured at our state-of-the-art facility in Buncrana. We try to keep things in-house where possible to keep costs down and stand over every job we do.”

Lynch Windows enjoy an excellent working relationship with clients such as Lidl who avail of their services time and time again.

“We have been responsible for about 85% of the windows, doors and shop fronts that have been installed in their newly-opened stores in recent years. Lidl are a great company to work for and they’re only going to get bigger,” Gavin explains.

“We have customers in both the private and public sectors. We do a lot of work for the HSE and recently completed projects for them at the Sligo Acute Mental Health Inpatient Unit, Sligo University Hospital and Beaumont Lodge Nursing Home in Dublin. We’re currently working in Primary Care Centres in Buncrana, Arklow, Donegal as well as two in Sligo.

“We’re also currently supplying and fitting aluminium lift and slide doors to  various large apartment developments in Dublin.”

There is a real family feel to the company which is something customers like.

“While we don’t highlight it too much, many customers like the personal touch you can only get from a family business. We’re very hands-on, especially Pat who is always onsite and does fitting himself. Clients really appreciate the fact that Pat and I are always just a phone call away. We deal directly with the customer and treat them all the same, regardless of the project”

Lynch Windows has gone to great lengths to satisfy the needs of its customers in the face of the materials shortage caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and Brexit.

“Material shortages are a huge problem at the moment. Every industry is in the same boat. Covid and Brexit have created the perfect storm. As a business that prides ourselves on customer service, it has been a really, really tough time and has presented us with challenges we’ve never faced before.

“Even when things like this are beyond our control, we’re trying our best not to let anyone down. We appreciate their business and they can rest assured that we will do our best for them.”

The Lynch Windows design team works closely with clients using the most modern software and technology to ensure they get exactly what they ask for.

“We use logikal and cad throughout the design process which allows the customer to visualise their project. It also mitigates risk and reduces cost. We have embraced modern technology in a big way,” Gavin adds.

Lynch Windows would like to take this opportunity to thank its customers and suppliers for their continued support as well as its staff for their dedication, hard work and expertise.
